Arkansas Workforce Centers provide workforce readiness training, job search, academic enrichment and work experience to jobseekers linking them to employers through a statewide delivery system. The Workforce Centers throughout the state are designed to eliminate the need to visit multiple locations.
The Workforce Center, along with workforce center partners, integrates a variety of workforce development programs into a single system, making the resources much more accessible and user-friendly to job hunters, as well as expanding services to employers.
Arkansas Workforce Centers are designed “by employers for employers” to find and train unskilled workers and help job hunters find new opportunities. When it all comes together, it’s a winning partnership for Arkansas!

Employers are constantly seeking a competitive edge. Employers need employees who possess the foundational skills necessary that set them apart as “workplace ready.” As a jobseeker, an Arkansas Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) designates you as workplace ready.
Successful completion of ACT WorkKeys assessments in Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, and Reading for Information can lead to earning your CRC. This certificate demonstrates workplace readiness in possessing these basic foundational skills, which are the fundamental, portable skills that are necessary for conveying and receiving information critical to training and workplace success.
