TEA for Minor Parents

The TEA program is focused on helping young parents complete their education, attain their goals and secure employment.  You could be eligible to take advantage of the following education and training opportunities leading to employment.  Are you a Parent?  Click on the link for publication.

Complete high school or attain a GED

Obtain additional education

On-the-Job Training (OJT) – Earn while you learn & Get paid while you learn your new job

Work Experience (WEX) training – Gain the experience needed to get a job in a specific field


  • Have a child under the age of 18 living in the home
  • Limited or no monthly income
  • Be an Arkansas resident
  • Be a Untied States citizen or lawful alien

While attending school, training or work experience activities in preparation for employment, you may be eligible for supportive services.  LET US HELP YOUR FAMILY!

The Information Desk is here to provide help and information to our customers who choose to contact us by telephone, email or fax. Our goal is to ensure that the customer’s issue is resolved to the customer’s satisfaction. To do this, the Information Desk staff will periodically contact customers to ensure their question or issue was handled in a satisfactory manner.
